Refund & Auto-Renewal Policy

1. All sales final

Except as expressly required by applicable law, all fees paid for Lead Friendly subscriptions, add-ons, wallet credits, phone numbers, and usage are non-refundable. We do not provide prorated credits or refunds for partial billing periods, unused features, or downgrades.

2. Free trial

New accounts begin on a free trial that runs for the lesser of (a) 7 days from account creation, or (b) 30 AI calling minutes. No payment method is required to start the trial, no fees are billed during the trial, and accordingly nothing is refundable. When the trial ends — whether by reaching the 7-day limit or the 30-minute limit, whichever comes first — calling is paused until you choose a paid plan. The remainder of this policy (sections 3 onward) applies only if you upgrade to a paid plan.

3. Discretionary refunds

We may, in our sole and absolute discretion, issue refunds in exceptional cases (for example, a confirmed billing error). The grant of any refund does not waive our policy and creates no obligation to issue future refunds. Where a refund is issued, payment-processor fees are not recoverable.

4. Auto-renewal

Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current rate for the same plan and billing interval, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. By starting a paid subscription, you authorize us (and our payment processor) to charge your stored payment method for each renewal period until you cancel.

5. How to cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time:

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until that date. No prorated refund will be issued for the unused portion of the current period. After cancellation, calling is paused; you can resubscribe at any time to resume.

6. Annual subscriptions

Annual subscriptions are billed in advance for the full 12-month term and are non-refundable, including for unused months following cancellation. For California residents and others where required by law, we will send a renewal reminder by email between 15 and 45 days before each annual renewal.

7. Price changes

We may change subscription prices from time to time. We will provide notice of any price increase that applies to your plan at least 30 days before the change takes effect, by email and/or in-product notification. If you do not wish to accept the new price, you may cancel before it takes effect; otherwise, the new price will apply at your next renewal.

8. Wallet credits

The prepaid wallet stores account credit denominated in U.S. dollars that can be used to pay for usage-based charges (including AI call minute overages and phone-number fees). Wallet credits:

If your wallet balance is insufficient to cover a usage-based charge, the relevant feature may be paused until you add credit or until your next subscription renewal.

8a. Wallet auto-reload (recurring authorization)

Wallet auto-reload is optional and off until you enable it. When you enable auto-reload, you authorize Lead Friendly to automatically charge your saved payment method, on a recurring off-session basis, by your chosen reload amount whenever your wallet balance falls below your chosen threshold, until you disable auto-reload. We record this authorization (including its text, a timestamp, and your IP address) for card-network and consumer-protection compliance, and your card is stored with your payment processor under a recurring mandate for this purpose.

You can disable auto-reload, or change the threshold and reload amount, at any time from Settings → Billing. Disabling auto-reload stops all future automatic charges. Auto-reload charges fund prepaid wallet credit and are subject to the wallet-credit terms in Section 8 (including that wallet credit is non-refundable and has no cash value).

9. Phone numbers

Phone-number purchase fees and monthly recurring fees are non-refundable. If you release a phone number before the end of its paid period, no prorated refund will be issued. If a phone-number renewal fails because of insufficient wallet balance, the number enters a grace period and may be released to the carrier if not renewed within that grace period.

10. Chargebacks

If you dispute a charge with your card issuer or bank, please contact hello@leadfriendly.com first so we can resolve the issue directly. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in suspension or termination of your account. Where we believe a dispute is not valid, we will contest it with the transaction records we maintain (which may include identity-verification, payment-authentication, consent, and service-usage evidence). A chargeback does not discharge amounts you owe for services already provided; balances that are resolved in our favor or later reversed remain due, and we may set them off against wallet credit or pursue collection as permitted by law.

11. Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any right or remedy you have under applicable consumer-protection law (for example, California Automatic Renewal Law, the federal Restore Online Shoppers’ Confidence Act, EU consumer-rights directives, or Australian Consumer Law) that cannot be excluded or limited by contract.
